Thank you for this. Your comment was super helpful. I think I would be feeling really anxious no matter what job I would have at this point. The difference is that this job is physically demanding which is an added stress.

At first I thought maybe I would give this job six months. But I don't think it is a good fit and I don't think I can force it. I attended a training last night and asked the trainer what to do if I felt the position wasn't a good fit. She said give it 60 days and then look around within the company for a better fit. She also shared that when they gave her the training position she felt she could not do it.

Maybe this feeling of not being up to a new job is common. Frankly, this has never happened to me before. But I also was never out of the work force this long and I think maybe that it is the main problem.
