Sounds like your depression talking when you want to give up both Annie. If they are not helping could you find a different t/ pdoc? I think giving them both up in the midst of your depression and recovery from your surgery would leave you with no support. I was on those anti depressants before and had to come off of them because my depression got really worse.
Do you have any supports in your life to help get you through the next week until your t is back? Remember too that today is a very triggering day for many different reasons and so tomorrow these feelings will pass
