Florence Foster Jenkins was a great movie: Meryl Streep does it again. FYI: FFJ was a rich woman in the 40's who thought she could sing opera and was encouraged by the people around her to pursue that delusion (she has syphilis). Her singing was atrocious (you can find actual recordings of her on youtube), but her story is endearing.

I still have a few more days before I have to head back to work. It has been a wonderful holiday. We traveled down to visit my parents and had fun at home last night bringing in the New Year. Not ready to head back to work yet. Would love a bit more time.
