What's not so cliche about this thread? This won't have as much of an impact if this weren't posted when it was posted. I liked that cosmic explanation of the calender Scientia wrote in the edited part. I usually pass the time this time of the year thinking about animal life, because they would be care less about what every human are doing.

I believe I'm alone, we can do away with not rating too much, so it's not a matter of over or under anything, if anyone wants to go fight against big religion of this world, please go on ahead and discuss how the prayers are supposed to work or not.

Polarization of opinions about this subject is so last century. You guys didn't wanna feel alone and got what you wanted. Oh, I also like the word 'Master Plan', this is the time in history that we all need to be aware of the puppet masters of the world, and fight against all the brainwashing schemes that started before anyone became conscious in our lives.

Does anyone have big great ideas about opposing this new years celebration? I bet nobody did anything to stop 2017 new year party, so this is a pointless complaint, one could take a stand and try to devalue the fake value that everyone seems to like.

To me, the calender time is for the history that we leave behind us, and it is possible that this cliche is the manifestation of the slave-master morality dance, ressentiment and negations are teaching tools for higher understandings of our position in the history, and I think the Clara's little article speaks a bit of truth about me too. I prefer not to feel nauseating every day, on one side, people get drunk and puking on a celebration party, and on the other, that human behavior that some people don't agree with still looks nauseatingly interesting to write their opinions about. By the way, I've read that the evil master prime minister of my country was playing golf with another evil master on this day, who performs and says opinions abut economic policies and they all just keep affecting the sheep herd, well,,, tradition, is pain in the arse! What more can I say?

Isolated One, I wished you wrote your original post with a bit more investigations into the life of people who likes to celebrate the beginning of the calender year every year. The OP sounds a bit anti-religious, and I think that's the unfairness to many many people's human rights. All lives matters, the constructs are already there. After all we've seen and haven't done a thing to make us feel that we've made the change, only humans can grasp the ideas of all we do. Deep programming and our wild behaviors can't end in destructions, soupy poop, that's just indigestion. It's all there, the spatial matters, distortions and obstacles are a lot to handle, yet we live on as if there's no last year.
