I love hearing everyone's stories about IQ. Thank you so much for sharing. My mother would never allow anyone to test my IQ. She thought I'd either get too proud of myself if I scored high, or very down if I scored low. A psychiatrist told me he'd estimate my IQ at 144. I scored 99th percentile on the English College Boards. Less on the math part but I was very good in Math at school. I am very poor on shape tests. I think a high IQ can cause all sorts of problems with "the world out there." I think I know way too much about "man's inhumanity to man." I have absolutely quit working on Federal Government political issues. After 60 years of activism, I see almost no results. True, we did a few MAJOR things. We did stop atmospheric nuclear testing, probably influenced getting out of Vietnam, and creating environmental "protections." I'm now working on local issues, and playing my musical instruments and singing semi-professionally. Doing art/music is a huge political freedom that is taken away and denied in many countries, both historically and now. I'm working on housing issues, too, especially trying to outlaw "no cause evictions" in my state.
