For me when lamictal started building up in titration I had a wonderful hypomanic-ish response that I miss even to this day. Seemed like it lasted 2 weeks or so then diminished. But without a doubt it's helped with my 'pissiness' and definitely keeps me from flying off the handle over minor things. But at 200mg.. it's not keeping the depression away. For you folks who get their lamictal up over 200... how do I get my pdoc to do that!? She told me that it becomes ineffectual over that dosage. As I mentioned in another thread.. I think they might just be overly cautious due to my dangerous response to Zoloft (but that was before I was put on Lamictal).
