People are told they are alcoholics for drinking alone. I really don't understand it. I think they mean if you used to drink socially but started drinking more than you wanted others to see so therefore chose drinking alone.

They used to think it was very strange I could sometimes drink alone but almost never socially. And warned be of becoming an alcoholic. Like being alone in itself is a risk factor. Eh... no I still don't get it.

People who drink socially at least here get smashing drunk. It is sort of the game. If I drink alone I drink a little, see no point in overdoing it. No one is trying to make me drink more than I want to when I am alone. Going out, totally different, people usually drink more than they planned.

I also eat alone. I wonder if that will give me an eating disorder..? So tired of judgmental people... sorry for the whine. (And I'll have some cheese with that please.)
