I don't know what type of work you do, but it doesn't matter. The unemployment rate is way off because they only count people who are receiving UC benefits. The competition for a job is really high so don't take it to hard. The other thing is what is called affirmative action. Your right in assuming it's rejection. I used to have to do 5 work searches a week after a year I started running out of places to apply. I done them all in one day and put it out of my mind the rest of the week.
