The "Moved" note that you see after a thread has been moved to a different forum is called a redirect marker. For instance:


We're not trying to hide the thread, just move it to a different forum, so we leave the marker to tell you where it went. The marker stays up for a few days, then disappears automatically. Meanwhile, if you click on the link you get taken to the thread.
