I am glad he is doing well enough to want to eat butter.
I have to admit that in my house we all would probably just eat the butter - maybe after scraping the licked part a bit and putting that part in the cat/dog bowls.
But maybe not even that. I have a cat that sometimes will lick bacon grease out of the jar I keep on the stove. I still cook with it. I figure the cooking will fix any problems it might could have.
So much for me being the couch cook now I suppose.
