I can't give you advice on a "good" cocktail because everyone is different. *But* sometimes it's useful to have both a mood stabilizer and AP.

I'm currently on Abilify and I've found that it's not particularly useful for mania, but it's useful for my depression. (Then again, Abilify is used for treatment-resistant depression for people with MDD, so it makes sense it's useful for depression). However, some people have found the med useless.
