I say 'pdoc' in this case because I don't have a therapist (psychologist) anymore. During my hospitalization there was sort of a 'war' between him and everybody else based on my diagnosis and meds. He is anti-med I suppose. Anyway.. He stopped seeing me after the psychiatrists took over. There is very little available where I live in terms of 'therapy'. I'm 5 hours from a major population center and there is very little available around where I live. So.. if I wanted to involve my wife with my treatment.. is it normal to have her speak with my psychiatrist or have her present? I THINK there are marriage counselors in the clinic.. but I have no idea if that is appropriate.

Anyway.. I can bring up these questions on the next visit.. but I read something in 'Why am I still Depressed' regarding communicating with your doctor.. and it seemed to steer away from asking them about spouses in the office, etc.
