I know we've got some mew members to our forum here so I wanted to leave some instructions for getting into chat if you'd like to join us tonight.

I create a room called Recovery Chat. usually I'll go into an empty room first and I check this by hovering over Chat up here at the top and then selecting Who's Online from the drop down menu. You can go in that way too if you like. Once you're signed into chat, click the Rooms tab and look for Recovery Chat. Select it and then click Change Rooms.

I go in at 8pm my time and I stay until 9, so anytime during that hour is open. We try and keep the focus on recovery from substance abuse so its a great place to come if you have questions. We discuss all the ways we've gotten sober, whether it be AA or not, so don't feel like anyone will try and tell you what to do. We just share our own experiences.

So if you've got experience quitting a substance, join us! If you're thinking about quitting a substance, join us! If you've got a friend or loved one struggling with addiction, join us!

Its just an hour where we can talk with people who understand. Hope to see ya there!!!
