I believe that if it is eliciting such a negative response from you, it may be time to step away from Facebook. I've heard this sort of obsession is quite common and would love to know the reason. It is human nature to want to "fit in", or so I'm told, so perhaps that has something to so with it. "If my post is not liked by a ridiculous amount of people, I am not in agreement with the pack and am therefore not a part of the pack."
