I went through that for years and very few understood. Believe it or not, my male dentist clued me into what was happening after I had a melt down in his dental chair. Sometimes during that part of my menstrual cycle my gums in the back would swell so bad I couldn't put my molars together, that's why I was at the dentist office. This was years ago and I don't think anyone does enough research on it. I have immense compassion for you and any others who have to deal with the mood swings in particular! I'm very glad to be past all that now.
