Hair loss in women constitutes a disorder whereas comperable hair loss in men (that is caused by precisely the same mechanisms) is not.
It might be worth going to your doctor to check about this. If you have health insurance then treatments might be funded through that. The treatments involve taking a tablet, I think. You need to keep on taking it because if you stop then you will continue to lose hair. I think the time to take it is BEFORE the hair has been lost in order to prevent more of it. I'm not sure that you regrow hair that has already been lost.
