I had a guidance counselor in HS who pretty much said the same thing and actually tried to convince my parents that I needed to be held back a year.

Current meds: 100mg Wellbutrin; 200mg Lamictal; 400mg Seroquel at night; Xanax 1mg/PRN; 100mg/PRN Trazodone at night for insomnia
