on the other thread you were concerned that your advice sounded "preachy"... i wanted to say how much i appreciate your support and the energy you've put into it... as you said at an earlier time.. this is for self-expression... i hear you...

the latest i've heardn is mom did know about the "stuff" going on... unreported was the fact that she told/asked them to stop...

now, most mothers would pull her child away from such goings on, right?

my cous, the mom, had such faith in her expression that she honestly believed they would stop. the mom and the dude both went to the same church together... had known each other about two years... he was an extension of the her family so to speak... helped her in many ways and she needed it...

maybe he was gaining trust? sounds like typical predator m.o. but, back to mom... with the new information i find it easier to support her...

daughter is in temporary foster care... mom has supervised visits on fridays... my mother is meeting with cuz's lawyers to see about a permanent foster care situation sometime this week
