Oh boy you live in a limited or absolute divorce state that's a good thing.
I live in a no fault and community property state and has a lot of statutory law that goes to case law where it can be interpreted many ways. So from what I read a limited divorce is a 1yr legal seperation that then can be the reason for a absolute divorce. You have to have a reason for absolute divorce. The laws are pretty black or white. It's still hard no matter what the reason. Attorneys are expensive but you get what you pay for. I know this is hard.
