First let me say there are NO rules about red or orange font color in chat. In fact, before I came, there was no one that realized it could be an issue.

It would be a courtesy for those in chat that have a problem, that's all. Those of us who do usually ask in PM to change your font color, often with an explanation. If you choose not to, then we have a choice of putting you on ignore (which we hate to have to do) or leaving the chat room. Not much else we can do. I've tried to stick around and not ask, and just read... it the person with the red/orange color doesn't say a lot and does that seldomly lol then it can be tolerated (for me.)

But there are rules/guidelines about using all CAPS.

Some members have visual imparities and might ask for BOLD... it isn't a rule, but a request that most of us are happy to comply with.

One has to wonder about why someone would be upset with changing something that is bothering another, something so easy to change, I mean. Perhaps the holidays are getting to us and the frustration level of anything extra is just too much?
