Thanks for all the helpful replies. I agree that it is important to remember that you don't have to have a reason to be depressed, since it is a chemical imbalance. I've just gone through a lot in the last few years, including losing both of my parents in the last 10 years, so I'm used to having a "reason" to be depressed.
I think I need to change pdocs. I moved recently and now have a new one and I feel like all he does is rush me out the door.
