Thank you all for coming on this most tragic of days. We are here to grieve the passing of Reptile's past. Some of us knew it well, but to most it was a mystery.
I thank all who came to support Reptile in this difficult time.

Now reptile, do you wish to say a few words?

Yes, thank you, I do.
I knew my past well, we came into existence nearly at the same time.
Our relationship was simple at first, in fact I paid no attention to it.
Only as I grew older did I realize it was there.
I would reminisce about good times I had, or regret poor decisions.
The regrets grew more numerous, things I should have said, things I should have done differently.
I will miss my youth, it's wonderful to be young, but I will be happy to no longer be reminded of my unhappy and fearful past, to let go of my abusers and my abuses.
I will forgive myself for allowing others to treat me so poorly, and for treating myself so poorly.

Now that my past is gone, I will remember it for its good qualities, for once again its innocence has been restored.
