Goodreads is a online website for books basically, you get reviews, insights, and other related books, just like Amazon but more directed towards books.

My favorite list of books so far are:

1- Pete Walker's books. I read and re-read them continually, to make all the knowledge instantly accessible to me.

2- John Bradshaw's books. Pete Walker's methods of psychotherapy are based actually on John Bradshaw's ones. The movement of healing internalized shame was actually got into limelight because of the incredible work of John Bradshaw.

3- Gershen Kaufman books. He has two indispensable books about shame, Shame the power of Caring and The Psychology of shame. John Bradshaw's work actually was based on Gershen Kaufman.

4- Most of the books Pete Walker recommend at the end of his CPTSD book.

5- Beverly Engel. Healing your emotional self, and it wasn't your fault are excellent in quieting your inner critic.

6- Nathaniel Brandon. in how to raise your self esteem.

7- a bunch of other ones, I haven't read yet.
