I can sorta relate to this. My great grandma used to say I love you 7 or 8 times before she would hang up with you on the phone. I remember when I was kid asking my grandma why she did that and she said it was that she wanted to make sure you know she loves you. I used to hate it has a kid and then she passed away in 2013 and now I miss those moments of her saying I love you over and over again. Your mom may annoy you sometimes but cherish the moments when she does because once she is gone believe it or not you will miss them moments. I wish Heaven had a phone sometimes so I could call my great grandma just to here her say I love you again even if she does say it 7 or 8 times.
