I think it's a huge defense mechanism in most of us. We see our bad behaviors and the guilt makes me hate my cruel jokes. But I still won't lie... my sense of humor is borderline disgusting. Maybe I do it to deflect off my own **** or maybe I'm just a sick ***. I'm guessing the later.
