I have a healthy appetite but the bupropion I take it decreases some. When I added the gabapentin, it negated the decreased appetite. But I am on a low dose, only 300 mg of gabapentin in the evening. I think I have to watch what I eat a bit more (I exercise moderately too). I have read that the higher the dose, the more likely it is that the gabapentin could cause a weigh increase. I always ask for low dosages (sometimes they actually do what I ask ) on all my drugs and see if that provides relief first. I figure, the lower the dose, the less likely it is that they will cause side effects.
