Question for ladies (men, you've been warned!! This is TMI for you. Now's your chance to close this out and not read!).

After starting Abilify, has your menstrual cycle been a lot heavier? I used to have really light periods with no problems. Now I'm bleeding through even super plus tampons. I had a minor accident at work today, but thankfully I was wearing black pants and I was about to leave.

It's not bad enough to stop Abilify, but I will make my pdoc aware of the side effect. The heaviness only seems to last about 2 days or so, no longer than that. I do plan to start taking an iron supplement just in case.
