I don't make a goal if it isn't achievable. It needs to be realistic, measurable, and incremental. And I reward myself when I accomplish it.
An example is I have this really bad fear of slipping and falling on the ice. My high calcium levels mean my bones are weaker than normal. So I have this catastrophic fear that is preventing me from going out. Things aren't getting done.
My goal this month is to control this fear - to stop thinking catastrophically and to stop allowing the fear to control what I do and don't do.
