Here it's called a hoagie) Anyways, when I came in tonight I asked him what he ate-he said "I just wanted something small so I had a 12 inch ham and cheese hoagie" I said that's not small. He said yes it is, it was a sandwich-a sandwich is a small dinner. Um..I know my perception about food is far from normal, but small to me is like an apple or something. Anybody else?
A 12" hoagie is not a small dinner. That's like a giant Subway sub.

I mean, I had a chicken breast and a cup of cooked spinach for dinner and I wouldn't call that small. Small in sandwich world has to fit in one of those sandwich baggies to me.
Thanks for this!
