The very fact that life follows patterns removes the whole notion of randomness. Just in my own life, which is patterned in certain ways, and in everything else (other people's lives, lifetimes of observable patterns) it demonstrates that there is a design for each/all of us. A totally random or chaotic world would not have these patterns. Sorry, I'm still not describing very well. But the opposite of random is patterned.
