Hi Junerain, I went to read your other thread. Sounds complicated and I still didn't understand all that was going on. (I don't know what a case manager is for--is it a legal representative for you, kind of like a lawyer?)
My best idea after reading your posts in the other thread is for you to seek legal advice. Maybe alternative dispute resolution would be helpful in your case. This form of legal process gets everyone talking, and can help come up with a solution that works for everyone, and you avoid going to court and so save money (you mentioned your mother would be on trial). You can often get one or a few sessions of free or low cost legal help at a university with a law school. Mention "alternative dispute resolution" and see what they advise. After the first few sessions, they may be able to refer you to a lawyer who will take on your case pro bono (free or reduced rate).
You mentioned in your other thread that your pdoc would not certify you as capable of being your own payee on your disability. Can you talk to him about why not? If he has no good reason, I can see this would cause a serious rift in your relationship and could make you want to change doctors. But maybe he has a reason, and hasn't shared it with you, and maybe a new pdoc would agree with his assessment. So there is no guarantee that going to a new doctor would result in what you want.
Best of luck. Take care.
