I am familiar with the opposite side of things: I have hypothyroidism due to Lithium and I hope (mainly for other reasons, but this one, too) to go off Lithium one day. The DX of hypothyroidism is straightforward: the lab test results. The prescription is Synthroid, a synthetic thyroid hormone. I would imagine that the DX of hyperthyroidism is equally straightforward, but I do not know what the prescription is. Can you post your thyroid test results?
