Death is easy. You just let go. And no more pain. Life on the other hand is hard as nails. Death is fair, it comes for every one, no matter how rich you are, or poor you are. Life can be and often is very unfair. Someone who hurts, cause pain and suffering to others can live contently, and lavishly whereas someone who is kind and a caring soul might end up lost in a darkness.
