I swapped to meloxicam 15mg/day before bed, for arthritis a few years ago, and it also got rid of most of the headaches. Depakote is supposed to work prophylacticly vs migraine type specifically, but I don't have those, so no idea. NSAIDs don't play nicely with some of the commonly used medications talked about here, so might as well get something specifically prescribed anyway.
