I get more aggitated and 'up' during the major changes especially as the light returns as we enter spring. I too get depressed come midsummer.

Could your own experience be circumstantial? Is it things or not doing things that might result in your melancholoy?

I go through a grieving process each summer. I was extremely active outdoors prior to my crash and, mainly owning to lack of finances, I am no longer able to do so. I have a great deal of sadnes, and resentment over this. I constant am crying and blubbering. My hospitalizations have generally been during this period of the year. It is frustrating as I know that I should be happier and relatively elated come the complete return of daylight.
