Jan, you can use a piece of a hot dog to hide a pill. Give Belle a piece of hot dog (small enough to swallow without chewing, big enough to hide a pill), then one with the pill, then another with no pill. A pack of hot dogs is way cheaper that a package of pill pockets. Some people wrap cheese around the pill instead of using a hot dog.
Not sure if it's fibro or CFS, but I am beyond exhausted. whine, whine, whine...
