I have the same type of OCD as you do. I get absurd, intrusive thoughts that make me very anxious. The good news: You will start feeling better. I promise. Like other types of OCD, "Pure O" stuff goes up and down. You mentioned medication. Give it time. It will eventually work. The key to beating this type of OCD, I think, is to learn not to argue with your intrusive thoughts. It's the arguing and the trying to get rid of them that usually causes the intense anxiety.
