MA is NOT a community property state where each gets 50/50 of assets that accrued to the marriage. So you have to fight it out with him about what you will get and he will get. The idea in MA is that everything be equitably split.
And most judges will decree that health insurance be provided for, either by the COBRA act for his insurance, straight insurance or ACA. Right now, ACA is pretty good insurance, especially in MA and with a lower income it is cheaper. MA also has its own version of the ACA. The judge may make you pay or him, depending again on equitability. But generally a judge will always rule on health insurance and that it be provided. Ask if he does not.
