pardon my whine, but i'm sick for the first time in 23 yrs :-(...
i thought i had freezer burned my lungs taking out the trash at 7 in the morning, it was zero degrees and i can't use my oxygen and haul the trash at the same time...

but by that evening i was coughing so hard i thought it was lung tissue coming up~ it damaged my vocal cords, and then didn't heal. i coughed until my rig cage felt like it had been hit by a car, and then my diaphram joined in. now repleat with a sore throat and sinuses and even my ears, i am beginning to think my immune system has finally taken a break.

and wouldn't you know that i have no way to get to the doc, and wouldn't trust them to give me something that would help, anyway. i'm living on aleve, cough drops and mentolatum, with a dose of valium when i start to twitch.

i can tell you, there is nothing like 'first hand' to bring understanding....
