Ooh, open chat!

Well, my day went okay. Wish I could say the same for my kid brother. The poor guy was cutting an onion and the knife slipped, resulting in half of the onion flying off the counter and onto the floor, and a portion of skin being scraped off the tip of his middle finger, resulting in a bit more blood than a clean slice. Mom thought it best for him to go to Urgent Care to get it looked at, and they basically slathered it in antibiotic cream and wrapped it up in gauze. Poor guy, he was just trying to make a Mexican style lasagna for a Super Bowl party he was going to, and now he's got his middle finger all wrapped up. Guess he can always use it to give someone a rather noticeable bird if he's mad at them.

ANYWAYS, my dad and I are going to make a 7 layer dip of sorts and have what we like to call "chips and dips". Funny given he doesn't quite like to watch the Super Bowl itself. He says its too heavily commercialized and over rated, and would gladly watch an action adventure movie instead. In fact, I think that's what he's planning on doing this evening.
