I was in a car accident last week. Just me. Hit a car and a tree and knocked out a streetlight! Parking near my house. Police say my foot hit gas pedal instead of brake. I feel like gas pedal went out of control. I didn't get ticket. It was so fast! I hurt my hand but haven't gotten an x-ray yet. I don't think it's broken. I have an oldish car so maybe it's considered totalled. Will find out tomorrow. Did anyone ever do this? I do not have a Toyota. It happened once before, and seemed like just lurched by itself. Very scary!!
