Thank you all. The support is great and I know every one means well. Today I had to go to work. It was hard I cried in the morning I cried when I came home. He was everywhere, all over, almost every part of our life in involved him. He was so funny and weird and we observed him and wondered about his actions. My husband reminisced about all of his favorite behaviors.
I loved it all. No new dog will replace him although I'd give anything to have another one of him.
We are functioning but the little things throw us into a tailspin.
My poor husband he has to go to work and at any point he could be required over time. And he works in the jail so for his safety he has to be tough and for his privacy too.
It's just so lonely and to top it off rainy and I have a migraine.
