I have booked a room for 2 in Panamá. I chose the placed based on the reviews and price. I arrived at apartment at night I had the bad surprise that the place was very dirty. Specially kitchen and bathroom. The host is a single mother and has a little baby girl. I tried to find something else, but I couldn't find any affordable option available for that date. I'm at the end of what the worst Airbnb experience ever. The host is very friendly, but she's a disaster when it comes to hygiene. She wakes up in the morning, has breakfast with the little girl and leaves all dirty dishes and rest of food on the table. Even the bathroom, she leaves the baby's bathtub full of water and toys. So I have to clean up all her mess before I can use the kitchen or bathroom. There is also problem with the trash that she leaves in the kitchen for days.
I am a very clean person, and had to clean her bathroom and kitchen.
Now as I leave my question is: what to do with the review. I saw other people's reviews saying that the place was clean and wonderful, which is absolutely not true. The lady need the income of the rent to pay her rent as she said she's struggling. I don't want to be mean, but I can't lie either saying that the place is nice. It is a shithole.
Should I leave no review at all? Or I should be honest and tell other guest about the place?
