My psychiatrist said that since Wellbutrin XL helps with my depression but makes me edgy and irritable, he's going to switch it to Wellbutrin SR twice a day and I should experience less irritability with the SR type. Does anyone know why the XL would cause those side effects and the SR type would be less likely to do so? Anyone know what the big difference is?
