"I Cain't Say No" from the 1940s musical "Oklahoma" has been one of my favorites since high school. It's sung by the character "Ado Annie." She is depicted as corny and sort of low-brow, but we all know plenty of girls/women of all sorts, who feel the same way. I did, for most of my life -- in fact (I hate to tell you this) sexuality pretty much ruined my life. I married the wrong men. Twice I asked a doctor to spay me, like a cat! I didn't want sexuality anymore. I was controlled by it, although I was not 100% promiscuous. I had SOME taste, but it was not always wise anyway. It can be a real problem, esp. for people with bipolar disorder who have hypersexuality! Here are a few of the verses -- all of them are right on, and hilarious! You can find the whole song on YouTube by searching there for I Cain't Say No Oklahoma.

It ain't so much a question of not knowin' what to do --
I knowed what's right an' wrong since I've been ten.
I've heard a lot of stories and I reckon they're true
About how girls are put upon by men.
I know I musn't fall into the pit,
But when I'm with a feller --
I ferget!

I'm just a girl who cain't say no.
I'm in a terrible fix.
I always say 'come on, let's go!'
Just when I oughta say 'nix.'

<snip>

Other girls are coy and hard to catch,
But other girls ain't havin' any fun.
Every time I lose a wrastlin' match,
I have a funny feeling that I won....!

Thanks for this!
