I hate driving during the 5ish to 6ish time frame, too and especially when it's getting dark and visibility is limited. I get anxious about driving to places I don't go to a whole lot. I'm always worried I'll get lost and I don't trust the GPS on my phone to get me there... I'm always thinking, what if it's not updated?? What if it has me tracked to the wrong location??? What if, what if, what if.... I think I kind of understand how you feel.
Good luck and stay safe picking up your daughter! I hope your cold gets better soon.

Thanks, Nene. I asked her if she could spend the night at her friend's and she said no because there's no room on the school bus. So I'm getting her in a couple hours.
My blood thinners was just a huge mistake. Missing one dose is no biggie but a week? Imagine if we missed a week of an antipsychotic. Except that blood thinners keep clots from forming in my lungs or brain or heart. At least the anti-coag people didn't seem too freaked out.
My cold is just a cold. Still have a slight fever, but I've had that for a week or so. Maybe I had a cold before I knew it?
So I'll try to feel positive about finding my way to my daughter's friend's house tonight. I think I'll sleep in tomorrow. (Unless the kids miss the bus!)
