I don't think I would have much to say in such a forum. And I am not a student anymore so it is not a a school issue. Nevertheless it was HELL being gifted, you were basically treated as a leper. Think about it, say the below average were the norm and you as of normal intelligence would have to always follow their ideas and not say a word about what you are thinking because if you did you were seen as a freak. IT IS HARD.

Also I lost two of my really smart Internet friends, people who challenged me and were smarter than me. It is a personal loss but also a hole in my life since it is much harder to find stimulation alone (One of my friends died and the other got very ill and decided to not be online anymore).

People assume people who are gifted are full of themselves. But I often see the opposite, I see people who are broken down because they never fit in and never found a home in this world.
