That's a really good video--do you have chronic pain? I do but fortunately, mine is only in a specific area--not all over like hers (the person in the video) probably is. So many people at PC deal with physical pain. The older we get, the more likely something may happen that causes physical pain. I have to get enough sleep and stay active or my pain just really flairs up. There is something about exercise (I walk 4.5 miles a day) that definitely decreases the pain in the long run overall so it is depressing to think of how much it is going to hurt if I ever get bedridden. But I am not bedridden! It is so important to live in the present moment when we can!

She's right, when you sit around, our pain, both physical and mental increases. And when I was in greater pain, distraction is the key to handling it. She is also very brave for sharing that she thought about committing suicide, that is a very taboo subject for many. I recently publicly admitted to a friend that my absence was due to a bout of depression. I think it is important for society to talk about mental illness more openly. Unfortunately, I don't feel able to mention my suicide attempt in public. I am just to ashamed of it because it was so selfish. Maybe, someday, I will also be able to talk more openly about that too! Thanks for sharing this video!
