Sugar is quite addicting. They put it almost all processed packaged foods.
Carbohydrate cravings are quite common. It is easy to over eat when it is just right there.
Could you ask the boss to provide protein bars...at least you could get some protein in you.
Could you bring some ham and cheese roll ups to eat at work?
do you drink milk?
Having a cup of warm milk at night can tide you over till morning.
And it can help you sleep better.
