See I am having the same issue with our cat sunny. He eats and then throws up and it doesn't look like he has chewed his food. Since we got McGee we also give them a can of cat food. Sometimes hubby has to pick sunny up and put him in front of the wet food. I think sunny is being difficult since hubby and sunny don't always get along. I also keep dry food out 24/7
